Question about naming specific companies for travel referrals.

My sister and I are considering an escorted tour of Scandinavia next fall. We've unearthed dozens of tour operators and companies that offer a wide range of travel. Neither one of us want to be stuck on a coach tour with a large group just looking out the windows. but are looking for more interaction and activities. If I ask for people to share a previous experience - is it alright to ask them to mention the company or tour provider they used? Many posts seem to just mention most things in general terms. Thanks all.
