Question only ladies might be able to answer

If I use a moisturizer on my face I consider it make-up nowadays. Used to love eye make-up, was quite skilled at that. No more, it's all rotting in the bathroom cabinet. Should throw it away. Never cared for blush, or as our moms called it rouge. In the days before commercial make-up women would pinch their cheeks to make face 'glow.'

I think it is one's generation most of time.I wore makeup when I worked as it was the norm back then. I wore it for some time after I retired but no more. I suppose if I were going to wedding or some special event I would wear it again but just to run to a store or a friends not going to happen.

I have worn make up since my early teens. It did not take me long to apply it since I did it every day. It has been only in these later years that I stopped wearing it. At my previous house I did not have good lighting to apply it and I was depressed a bit and didn't really care what I looked like. Now, I got out of wearing it due to having to wear that mask. I really miss the eye make up the most but I can't see well enough to apply that. I don't see anything wrong with a woman not wanting to go out without her make up. It makes her feel more confident.

I had lovely facial skin up until around my late 40's, the years of sun exposure
and damage reaped it's toll. SO, as an older woman I chose to wear a light
foundation always and mostly at least, I prefer to leave home with some on,
and I feel better when I do. Light eye makeup and a soft color on my lips,
usually gloss. Simply, I feel better with my face makeup on, when you
look at me you would not think, wow she piles on the makeup, ....

Makeup for me is fun, pleasurable, and I surely have the time to do my thing
in the morning in front of the mirror, maybe 15 min worth...

If I could do it all over, I would have used daily sunscreen through life, and I
did not at all, and I would have not sunbaked myself for a tan either, no interest
whatsoever in these now older years, give me a shady tree with a bit of sun shining
through and I am good to go :)
