Has anybody here ripped music from CDs onto flash drives? If so, I'm wondering what minimum capacity the flash drive needs to be to hold just one music cd. TIA.

Yes, that would do it. If you got a larger drive for a couple bucks more you could put your entire music collection on it.Thanks, all. I was planning to use Win Media Player, which I guess uses MP3? Anyway, what I'm trying to do is: our new car doesn't have a CD player in it; Huzz wants to be able to keep playing the music from his 11 CDs in the car but absolutely refuses to use a Spotify account or something to play the music using his phone, just won't.
So using Win Media Player, I'd like to put the music on flash drives but only want to put one and only one cd on each flash drive to make it easier for him (and neither he or I want him while driving messing around with trying to find a particular album on a flash drive). So since I'm going to have to buy eleven separate flash drives, in order to keep costs down at least a little, want to get the lowest capacity that'll work.
So @Nathan, sounds like a 1 gb drive would be sufficient? (I've actually seen both 1s and 2s for sale.)
Thanks again, all.
My brain hurts knowing I'm gonna have to do all this, lol!My brain hurts reading this thread.
