Quick Warning About “Click Fix” Scams....

Just a heads up about a newer scam I learned about.

Instead of asking you to click a bad link, they tell you to type or paste strange codes into your browser or computer to “fix” a problem. It might look technical so people trust it.

If you do it, you can end up installing malware yourself without realizing it.

Simple rule:
If a website or message tells you to copy and paste code to fix something, dont do it.

No real company will ever ask you to do that.

Stay safe everyone

Close, but I was thinking more along the lines of base64 encoded types that the plaintext isn't even apparent that it's even a threat, like everything...there is varying degrees and levels.... but ive seen full infostealers with EDR enabled and polymorphic payloads this way a lot recently especially at small aimed at small buisness and over the phone(actual voice) or QR code variants that bypass email and local defenses far easier.

Didn't mean to re-post anything though, i apologize! The video you posted IS informative and interesting.
