I watched a documentary about him... I think on Netflix. He was a pretty impressive guy! RIP.

"Q" was one of the most prolific, brilliant musicians/composers/producers ever. In his younger days, he was fine too! He certainly had a fitting middle name. This from Wiki:
"Quincy Delight Jones Jr. (March 14, 1933 – November 3, 2024) was an American record producer, songwriter, composer, arranger, and film and television producer. Over the course of his seven-decade career, he received many accolades including 28 Grammy Awards,[1] a Primetime Emmy Award, and a Tony Award as well as nominations for seven Academy Awards and four Golden Globe Awards.[2"

He worked with many greats, including Sinatra, who Q said gave him his special ring, something Q said he treasured. I love that he was always evolving, working with many from the younger generations, , including rappers. But it was in the Jazz genre where he really started making his exceptional talents known. Here's one of the coolest versions of this song:

R.I.P. Quincy.
