R.I.P Helen Reddy

Sad to hear. I didn't even realize she had dementia. I'm looking at some pictures in her later years I don't think she aged well. Her body had a lot going on. Another icon from another era gone.

RIP

I think that's a little unfair. I feel she aged as we all would naturally and stars and celebrities would if it wasn't for plastic intervention...of which I'm sure she had none .

Female humans are judged on their appearance from the cradle to the grave. It wouldn't occur to me to comment on this woman's passing with a remark about how well she seemed to have aged.

She gifted us with her vocal talents and her strong involvement in the women's movement - and I'll remember her with gratitude for both of those.

I think that referred to her weight - which can't be helped by plastic intervention.

Remember her in my heart, always.
So many parts of my teens and young adult, had learned the strength of women.
So many of her pieces helped teach me strength.
THANK YOU, HELEN REDDY.
Always in heart and memories.
RIP.

I know you were referring to her later years... she was in her 70's..For goodness sake.. is she supposed to look like Cher ? ..she was a real woman
Yes, I agree & I wasn't doing any judging; I was suggesting what another poster may have meant when he mentioned health issues. :)
