Being Canadian I think we were blessed to have Queen Elizabeth ll as our Head of State
for so many years. She was greatly admired and can never be replaced.
Camilla should stay Queen consort but never Queen.

I do respect William and his lovely wife Kate.
 

so why is it that there is continual snipping about Camilla who Charles clearly loves being included to this page concerning RIP our beloved Queen - sounds like hard cheese to me?
 
the queen is dead RIP - the reigns of the royal household and responsibilities have been handed over to her faithful son Charles. I personally believe he has matured very well and has chosen the woman he always truly loved Camilla. He undoubtedly wants her to be his Queen regardless of past protocols or even his mothers wishes - I like that in Charles he is his own man and will do things his way and both the Queen and his father Prince Phillip will undoubtedly look down upon him and say " That's our son he has matured well and we acknowledge his succession and decisions!!

I agree when it comes to Charles. By all accounts he has done a marvelous job with over the years. However I can't see Camilla as queen. It's a personal prejudice!
 
King Charlie is King of Australia, Diana spoiled our chance of becoming a republic in the 1980s. These days I don't think people care enough for there to be any push to remove the pommie monarch as head of state, he costs us nothing as long as he doesn't visit and has no effect on our political system after the constitution was changed after the 1975 debacle.

At the moment becoming a republic is a non issue
