Ready or not...Here comes Winter...

Guess it depends on where you live …. we usually don’t see much cold weather until February, and it’s brief.

A/C is still running in my apartment in December. Not too Christmassy.
 

I was so not ready for snow, but we got some Friday night into yesterday (Sat). I am so not ready for winter. At least my S.A.D. isn't as bad as it used to be. I look forward to the few days of "Indian summers". A few years ago, for two years in a row, on my birthday, which is in February..it was in the high 70's, low 80's, warm enough for me to take the train to the Hoboken, N.J. waterfront park and hang out. I viewed it as a birthday present from God.

I see you have SAD too. That's great it's not so bad now! Mine isn't as bad as it has been before too. Happy holidays to you 🎉
 
Great time of year. I went for an evening walk the other day, huge slow snowflakes falling. A comfortable 20 degrees. Just beautiful.
 
For 'the next week'...frigid...

Have I told you lately I hate winter.
 
We get winter up here and even though people who live in northern climes are veery familiae with it, the short days, overcast skies, and the cold can sometimes get people down. So I thought I'd share something that has risked the spirits of everybody I've shared it with.
