Walking out during his speech is showing disrespect to the President Of The United States. I dont care for him either but I would not walk out while he is talking.

Bogus Reports By Obama-Haters....And People Fall For It!

President Obama campaigned for gubernatorial candidate Anthony Brown in Maryland Sunday afternoon to a sold out crowd of 8,000, according to the Upper Marlboro Fire Marshall.

This meant there were folks waiting in the Wise High School overflow room/gym, so POTUS was kind enough to stop in there and address them before the rally.

“Crowd shrieked again as POTUS wrapped up and made his way to the rope line,” Pool reported as Obama got ready to speak to a sold out crowd of 8,000 at Wise High School. So, many excited fans. Much love. People shouted “I love you!” at POTUS.

Here’s where all of the love of a sold out rally got turned into a failure by the mainstream press. As President began his speech for Lieutenant Governor Anthony Brown, who is running on the Democratic ticket for Governor, folks seated in the front row near where the journalists were sitting (the event was open press) headed for the exit as soon as they got their photos of the President.

The White House Pooler accurately noted, “… some in the crowd started leaving as soon as Obama started speaking and by the time he was about 10 minutes in, there was a traffic jam next to the pool’s tables as folks tried to exit the gym.”

Politico White House reporter Jennifer Epstein elaborated by tweeting a photo (looks like one man leaving is even wearing an Obama t-shirt, so probably not a hater):

Also, the rally was sold out. Update 1 11:00 PM: It turns out the folks who left early were in the overflow room, so actually this was a big Obama success. Oh, Reuters. Your Obama hate is showing.


Update 2 11:09 PM: Josh Lederman , writing for the AP, brought some straight talk to his coverage because it’s true—Maryland is Obama country and as he points out, the county went for Obama 9 out of 10 voters, so that’s another big black mark in the attempt to turn a few people walking out into A Story Of The Year of Obama Fail:
Support for Obama still runs high in Democratic-leaning Maryland — and especially in Prince George’s County, a heavily African-American corner of the state and Brown’s home base. Roughly 9 in 10 voters in the county backed Obama in 2008. Just next to the high school where Obama held his rally sits Barack Obama Elementary School.

Another story they wanted to run with, Obama's credit card was refused because he was rarely using it and it was suspect. We've gone on vacation before and brought a card we hardly used with us. With all the identity theft going on, I don't think anyone has the option of approving a credit card after it's been rejected for any reason by the computer. Recognition is not a factor.
 
As a general rule and most past presidents have done this when purchasing anything,the Secret Service usually pays for the President and they are reimburse later.
 
IMO that kind of reporting is a disgrace to the profession of journalism

I hope the media outlets are taken to task for journalism that is not only sloppy and misleading but patently biased.
Is there no such thing as a press council in the US dedicated to the maintenance of journalistic standards?

I have a question.....whenever a right wing news article appears, it can't be true, and they are called Obama haters. I usually try to post liberal articles, so it will be seen as authentic here. Looking at the "PoliticusUsa website, it says "Real Liberal Politics." Not to offend, but what makes Liberal news articles, more authentic than right wing news?
 
I wouldn't say their articles are always not true, or they are always Obama haters, but I've noticed that many times they stretch the truth, and slant things to emphasize their positions. Like I say, I've never been very political or paid that much attention to the news, but I've noticed since Obama was re-elected, there's been a lot of bashing, and jumping on anything they can to demonize him, whether it's warranted or not.

There's still sour grapes about the whole thing, but rather promote their party by what they have done and plan to do to benefit Americans, they can only stoop to criticism, whether true or made up about the President. I've been listening to some conservative talk shows on the radio, and they do show childish hatred toward the President, IMO. Some of the conversations between the hosts and the callers are really unbelievable, lol! Some clown called in and sang a song against gays, Obama, etc. that was quite sophomoric, yet everyone seemed delighted with it.

Like in this case, using the fact that some people were leaving that event, and blaming it on Obama's "continuing unpopularity", just doesn't sit well with me. Do you think that's why those people, one wearing an Obama tee shirt, were leaving the area?

The liberal news sites do the same thing, but it seems to be to a much lesser degree, as far as I can see. I just think, like I've said before, that we all need to listen to different news sources and opinions, and decide for ourselves what's really happening and what is just plain false reporting.

After what happened here in Florida with gubernatorial debate last week, I so through, well I was through with both parties before that, but this just really made me so sick of them all that, I can't stomach listening to reports that come out from either side these days.

I know some saw this but for the rest of you that haven't enjoy as they make Florida the joke of the nation once again.

It wasn't the owners that rejected the card.. it was the credit card company that rejected the card.... you know... that little computer that accepts or rejects a purchase when the card is swiped.

Absolutely.... and I resent the False Equivalence being applied. NO the left leaning media is NOT exactly the same as the Right Wing echo chambers. They are constantly debunking the crap Limbaugh and Faux news spews out. But as you say... knock down one lie or conspiracy theory... two pop up.
