Received a FB reprimand...

...from one of my FB contacts, who has some local clout, about my using the terms "mass hysteria" and "panic" in a derogatory way in regard to COVID in my posts. She said I should "take things more seriously". Can someone tell you what you can and can't post on FB?

They can, but panic and mass hysteria are serious too. Thankfully these aren't permanent conditions. Some of these people they have advising the public on TV sound a little nutty at times too. Even beloved doc Fauci, some of his double talk has me thinking WTH does that even mean?!!

He can't risk offending you-know-who so he can't come out with the plain truth. Offending y-k-w is the easiest thing in the world to do, like not breaking eggs if you're walking on them.

Well, deb perhaps she is right. After all, you did not receive a FB reprimand, yet that is your headline. Your headline has elements of hysteria. Her remarks have Nothing to do with what you can or can't post on FB.

I don't think that's true at all. He has contradicted "him" on several occasions. Fauci knows his stuff and isn't about to be railroaded.
You are right. I was disrespecting Dr. Fauci. I hope you don't think I was accusing him of lying. I don't think he would do that. He is incredibly diplomatic though. And, I must stop watching politicians talk so much, no matter what their stripe. It's causing tension in me to be so bombarded. I really must get creative and take better control of myself through meditation, reading, teasing and bothering cats, ANYTHING but do so much listening to this stuff.

PS
Reading about it here doesn't bother me. It's the out-loud chatter.
