I fear my wife may be in the early stages of dementia. She received a brand new Iphone and has thrown away any paperwork that may have come with it. I've checked all of our charge accounts and find NO transactions. I've called Apple and the unit was sold to a third party and they were unable to tell me whom that may have been. I'm afraid to open this phone for fear of being billed some crazy amount of $$. Anybody have any suggestions?

I agree with Disgusted; don't open it yet. Wait until you can check your bank and credit card statements for that time-frame. Check 2 months back, allowing for delivery time. Call Apple again, you might get a different response from a different agent. The phone might have been delivered to your address by accident.

@kburra , after you have pressure washed them do you have to seal them again ?

Ive cleaned my windows , have been a walk , I cooked Peri Peri Chicken and now im going to watch Escape to the Country:)
