A few sellers on the online valley selling groups have been showing refinished, solid wood furniture. Mainly it’s dressers, sideboards and smaller tables. I’m really impressed how well these are done. They strip them down and finish them in modern colours. The hardware is refinished or replaced. These end up being really attractive pieces for very reasonable prices. I hope more younger people start looking for these upcycled pieces.

It’s good to see these younger artisans/entrepreneurs creating a ‘new’ quality product.

It’s a win/win/win for the buyer/the seller/the environment.
