Thank you Kat I loved it. Usually with long videos like this I save them for later but this one had dogs in it so I watched it right away and I just love it. What a nice tent she had. Not like our old tent when back in my camping years I only camped once with our Irish Setter who got rained on and it was no fun in the tent with the smelly wet dog.I don't know if I shared this with you or not but this is the video I watch whenever I need some cheering up.
She is one of my favorite channels so I watch her daily. I saved her 3 videos about these puppies. She rescued them from an Amish farm. He had the dogs in a pen inside a barn and was selling them. She made a deal to buy all the puppies and the mother. She could not stand them staying there. He picked the mother up by the scruff of her neck. She was afraid of everything but Moose (the bigger corgi) bonded with her right away. Now in this video she has warmed up to Brooke.Thank you Kat I loved it. Of course, following a ketovore food plan I do not eat bananas. I am glad that I don't. After having to make sure I have them for 11 years now I am sick of them. Now I hate the smell of them too. So when my bunny boy is gone I will never buy them again.
Hey, I just subscribed to her channel. Thanks again. She is one of my favorite channels so I watch her daily. I saved her 3 videos about these puppies. She rescued them from an Amish farm. It's also a constant chore for me cleaning up paper piles that have accumulated. Hope your finger is doing better. This morning I cut my finger on the spring mix container. Trying to get the top off. Tiny scratch and barely any blood. On my index finger just below the nail bed and boy does it sting! I am trying to type and that makes it sting more.
I have another one of those paper piles that has accumulated somehow. Going through them while I have my coffee. Most of them go in the trash. I try to stay on top of those papers but I never do.
Tuesday I got rid of some bake ware that I have in my cupboard. I have not used it since the first year I moved here. So out it went to the free table. I have some more to put down there now. Pyrex. Which I hate getting rid of but I will never use it again. My son ruins everything so can't give it to him. Free table works best for me.
My goal this week is to empty the top shelf of two of the cupboards. I can't reach up there so anything that is there I can't use anyway.
It is. I forgot about it until I put my hands in the dishpan to wash dishes. It's also a constant chore for me cleaning up paper piles that have accumulated. Hope your finger is doing better.
Yes, but they don't taste like they did back then. How times change. When I was a kid, banana's were a real treat, and only available at certain times of the year. Now? They're everywhere.

So I haven't wanted to talk about this. I have not mentioned Rabbit's declining health issues to anyone except Sonny. He has been having difficulties getting into his cage where his litter box, hay and water is. Quite a number of accidents along the way trying to get there. I wasn't sure what to do. After all he is 11 years old and bunnies' life span is normally said to be 10 years if they are kept in a house.
Today I am experimenting with making a litter box out of a box with one side completely open and flat. I have set up mats with a very large dog floor protector (folded in quarters) underneath. So from his spot between the dressers he can go to this box. I still don't know IF he will use it. If he cannot get to the cage, he may. I have moved the cage out of his area so he is not able to get to it anyway.
Now I am going to see if I can fasten his water bowl to the front door of his kitty carrier with it on the outside. So he can just go to it and drink......IF he will do that. He is very set in his ways and likes things to stay the same. He is not limping or anything like that but just seems to have trouble with the big hop into the cage. I thought about taking it off the casters but there is still a 4 inch barrier to get into the cage. I will see how this turns out tonight.
I am at that point where I am ready for it. I know it will happen and I didn't want him to outlive me. He is a good bunny and he knows I love him. He is my last pet in a long line of various types through out my life.Sorry to hear that. Being aware of life's cycle doesn't help, does it? However, it does remind us to give an outpouring of love while they are with us.
Thank you. As long as I can still feed him bananas he is happy (looking for one right now as I write this).I fully understand what you are going thru, and it hurts to watch when you can’t make things better. .. hugs to Rabbit!
Thank you, Pinky. I know people might think I am crazy to say this but I find going through this with a pet is no different than what I went through losing my parents and in-laws. I never have felt a pet was inferior to a person.Watching a pet grow old is hard .. as is, seeing their physical decline.
Still - they are worth having in our lives.
