Like Franks Sinatra sang in his song, "My Way," "Regrets, I've had a few, but then again, too few to mention." I would think most, if not all of us have had at least one regret. I have always told my wife that I have had two regrets in my life. Now, please keep in mind, to me, regrets are different from things that I am sorry for or things that I wish that I had done different. Regrets to me are things that I feel in my heart that if I had the chance to do something over again, I would not miss the chance to do it.
Here is one of my two regrets that I feel so very strongly about......I regret that I did not stay in the Marines. It was one of the worse decisions that I ever made leaving the Corps. How I loved my beloved Marines. However, after I left the Corps, I was married within a year and I devoted my life to having and raising a family, which I do not regret.
Anyone else care to share a regret?
