Remdesivir

When I was given Remdesivir for COVID-19, it was given through my IV. I was told that I would receive it for 10 days, but I was in the hospital for only 5 or 6 days the first time. I did go back and get 2 more injections, but they (doctors) do not prefer administering it like that.

I thought this is a great drug. It was easier to catch a breath after only 24 hours. I heard from a few nurses that some of their patients didn’t do well on it.

This seems to be a situation some fail to grasp. There is not a one size fits all in most medications.
While some may respond positively not ALL will ......
Each day when I hear or read discussions around this virus.....people fail to see that there are successes with various treatments i only hear the negative .....
So glad you can be a voice to show it works well for some.

You’re correct. Some of the patients that were in the hospital during my stay did not respond to it at all.
