Remembering the 1970's!

I have an original Farrah Fawcett poster from the 70's that hung inside my husband's closet when he was a teen. Came with him when he married me! I did get him to let me place in a tube for safe keeping some years later. It came with us during every move over the years.

What a fun surprise for my son to find when I am gone!

The refrigerator was "harvest gold". We had one.
Still have those tupperware bowls shown in the video, as well as the lids .
We also had HBO and Cinemax.

I spent much of the 70s at cornfield keg parties or at the lake drinking Boone's Farm strawberry wine.

We had an avocado green refrigerator and stove.

I'm not sure if the 70s made more sense with clothes or without.

I guess you had to be there. ;)

In 1972 I was 20. The biggest thing for me was the Vietnam War. I got drafted. I served 2 years in the States, and then became a born again Christian. I started my famiy. We had a girl first, Tamara, in 1975. We had Nathan, in 1977. It is amazing how much my/the world has changed in 50 years.

Steve Martin was really emerging as a stand-up comedIan in the 1970’s, featuring his Wild and Crazy Guy persona. I really loved the guy, as well as the early Saturday Night Live cast…

Yes, Steve Martin, such a funny guy. We saw him in Sausalito in the 80s, when he had the arrow through his head lol.
And, SNL was the best then..the material on there now doesn't even compare.
