Well, she was 'my' friend, 'our' friend, even 'their' friend and to many. A sweet lady yes, a wise person also, genuine and precious
beyond words to those who knew and loved her. Shali was uncomfortable with Organized religion, but she did believe in reincarnation.OIP (1).jpg

Hi Newly Senior, yes it was 'confirmed' a while back. Many of us were not confused about Shali's passing, while some
others were. Thread was deleted for good reason at that time. So 'this' thread is to remember her and the beautiful
person she was~
 
I didn’t know Shalimar, but she must have been very popular and well liked as well as very intelligent. The world cannot continue to lose such wonderful loving people.

I am sorry for all of you and your loss. My condolences to all of you. May she rest in peace.

I’ve deleted most of my PM’s from Shalimar but we talked all the time. When her son was in an accident we stopped talking. Understandably so. I never counted our PM’s but over a 6 year period I’m sure there were hundreds
 
For me, it is gratifying to see people recognize
what a loving and genuine person Shali was, and
who lived a life of service.

Shali loved her SF friends, they were important to
her. She would have appreciated knowing her pms
were saved, even all the 850 of them. She even loved
you Magna, in spite of things.

Shali's legacy is love, efforts to help others, genuine
and true, yes dear Shali, that was you~

You are still and always loved~

Remember her poetry she wrote?! It was amazing. Did she ever publish any of it? I miss reading it but never thought to save it because it was often very emotional and fraught with inner turmoil. It was hard to take in but I admired how well she expressed herself from the depths of her being. The best and most famous poets and artists are like that.

I though do not know though if any of her poetry was ever published..
