Removed because the F word was prevalent

What I originally posted was 3 1/2 minutes of the script from series 4 of The Wire.
The F word was 95% of the script. Used at least 40? times.
The original post ended up being **** ******* ******, ....
So no actual text was present. The algorithm removed the word.
Well, F*** Me!:D

Thanks for the explanation.

Sadly, the F word and so many others have lost their punch due to over use.

I am a bit surprised that the system would even allow you to post it.

I get frustrated and annoyed when simple harmless words that have been co-opted as vulgar slang are blocked from use on many sights.

I wonder if artificial intelligence will begin to look at the usage and context of words before banning them completely. 🤔

A couple of days ago a friend sent me a link to a Neil Young song. It had captioning running -- it got most of the words wrong, even on the refrain it kept using different wrong words --it was hilarious.

As I get older my hearing tends to do the same thing.

It’s amazing how misunderstanding just one word can send a conversation straight to the gutter. 😉🤭😂

It's such a hurtful word to me. I don’t like to hear it, see it or say it. Just saying the letters out loud is repulsive!

i always wonder if some movies set in olden days when the dialog contains it, did people say it that much back then?

I think profanity was not allowed early on.
I remember reading about the producers of Gone with the wind being fined for the use of Damn in the dialogue - "Frankly, my dear, I don't give a damn"

Next time replace the F word with fark. Then we'll know what you're farkin' talking about. And you won't have to go down to the principal's office.
When we tried that around my grandmother she would still scold us because she felt that the thought was still in our heads and hearts even if the vulgar words weren’t in our mouth.

I didn’t understand it then but it makes more sense to me now.

I know an old online team member who would never have been able to speak if that were the case back when we played a war game.
He used it every other word =, even added things to the end like ckery, ckation, ckitis, ckabration.
He simply grew up in an area it was a common word and since he rarely left that area just talked like his peers.
He was a genius at the game so we got used to it, our best attacker. No we didn't pick it up too 😂

I was out with a group of friends last night and one of them asked me if I was seeing anyone special. I said $#@& NO! I don’t even know where that came from. I must feel stronger about it than I realized. Everyone laughed. They are all married except for one other single guy and he totally agreed with me - without the curse word though.
Are you Samantha from Sex In The City? :ROFLMAO:
