Replace Bread Crumbs With Pistachio Nuts In Your Recipes

Watched a segment about making a no meat burger and using pistachio nuts was part of the recipe. The chef said to use them in all recipes calling for bread crumbs and that sounds like a good idea since bread crumbs taste like nothing and reduce flavor. That sounds like a very good idea. Just pulverize them and add.

That chef has more money than most of us then as pistachio nuts are not cheap, also high in fat. I do enjoy them in small quantities.

Panko is a good substitute for ordinary bread crumbs.

A few weeks ago I was in a hurry and forgot to get bread crumbs when I was planning to make meat loaf. It turned out o.k. anyway, but later I read that Stovetop Stuffing is a good substitute.
