That cathedral was the only building left standing after the bombing raids. It still looked pretty much like this 10 years later when I toured the Ruhr Valley.

I love this. The cat taking a picture is hilarious and so cute. But the looks on their faces are a treasure. One is amused, one doesn't want to be there and the other seems to want some clarification about the situation.
