Retired candies you wish were not retired?

I don't eat much candy ever, but if I saw a Zero bar I might indulge. Did you ever have a Zero bar when you were a kid? They were white chocolate over chocolate nougat candy bars and they were GOOD. What candy that is no longer with us do you wish you could resurrect?

Not really candy but the Bear Naked brand has apparently quit making their chewy nut-butter and granola bits and are attempting to replace them with “crunchy” bite sized snacks. Haven’t tried the new ones, I’m in mourning for the originals 😒

Oh. My. Gosh! I love Zero bars! So much! They used to be on sale here everywhere and now only at WalMart and I'm afraid they're maybe going to discontinue selling them too; last time I looked at WalMart, they weren't in the candy section where they used to be; they only had a few up at one of the registers so I scooped those up. I've bought them from Amazon but they were stale and a few of the bars were smashed. :( I just now googled and it says they're still being made supposedly, Hersheys bought them from the Leaf Co.

They are still here. One of my favorites. I find that the stores have just stopped carrying some candies they think kids today won't like. I miss mallow cups, cherry mash, goo goo clusters, rocky road bars. I know I can order them but they are so expensive these days. When I do see certain candies I buy a bunch. At one time, our Walgreens carried a lot of these older, beloved candies.

Yeah, I remember Mallow Cups too and I did like them. Pity cuz even if some of these candies are still available but stores don't carry them then it doesn't help does it? Well, it helps my blood sugar I guess.

American Sweets are very different from uk sweets... I used to love all sorts .. from Pacers.. ( spearmint chewy sweets )..

Amazon sells Zero bars in packs of 24. 🤫 I haven't bought them, so I can't say whether or not they're the same as we remember.
EDIT: I just checked my WalMart and they have Zero... single bars and 6 pack. Single is now $2.12 but... now that I'm reminded of them, I may have to pick one up!

I always loved Mallo Cups! I remember those cardboard inserts with points... I was the one tasked with cutting them out and then my parents mailed them in for a free pack of them. :) Last time I saw them was at the counter a few years ago when I had to go into Tractor Supply for pet food. I don't know if they still carry them or not... haven't been in there since.

Mounds bars. I can find Almond Joy bars at the local stores, but Mounds Bars seem to be AWOL.

And, it's ice cream not candy, but I would like to be able to buy some ChocoTacos this summer.

I really liked Bottle Caps . They were flavoured candy that tasted like pop. They had coke, root beer, orange Grape and cherry. When I went to public school as a kid, we’d go home for lunch and on the way back to school stop at the store for candy. It was fun.21BE3E25-CB83-4BB3-8D89-22ED07C00EE5.jpeg
