Retired in the NC mountains

I have only had drive by view of North Carolina as a child. Seemed like a magical place to me. As I remember it we went up the coast near the water, we were on our way to Maryland to visit grandparents. My stepdad chose a route that would give us adventure everyday. He was the best!!
 
Well hi y'all back, eh? I'm a fellow new-joinee, except I've bin ear a tad longer than you! I've passed through your state mebbe one time or mebbe two, but I don't remember much about it. That must've bin when the Missus was driving n' I was asleep. Or perhaps it was dark. Anyways, welcome to wot I'm finding out is the best forum I've every joined! So many fabulous folks who're friendly to boot! Me, I'm up in Southern Ontario, near Tronno n' Niagara Falls, eh? In closing, if there's anything ya need to know aboot this place, DO NOT HESITATE to NOT ask me! Cuz I don't know much yet. But I'm having a lotta fun figgering it all oot! See y'all in the forum, eh? :)
