Just joined and look forward to reading posts. I still have the same likes and tastes I did when I was younger and now that I know all the answers
no one is asking me the questions. I'm very fortunate in my early 70's..can still walk for miles, run a little, and love to travel. But I still have lots to learn

Welcome Don :rose::wave:. How did you do during Irma? I did a brief drive-by/lunch near there in a little boutique village that had a restaurant with banana trees for their landscaping...full of bananas. I was impressed by the wide beach (tide was out but still...very wide). I wish I could remember the name of that village. It was probably 20 years ago and probably grown. My children were little and two of them were rollerblading. I don't think anyone rollerblades anymore.

Hi Don, good to have you join us!

Lots of trees down, debris everywhere and lots of my friends had water in their houses. We lucked out. About one inch more and we'd be swimming as well.
The village you're talking about is most likely the village pier area. Lots of little shops and still a great place to sit and people watch. Where do you live now?

When I went to school there, the main campus was on Main Street. I remember feeling like Dr. Zhivago crossing the Russion Tundra when we had to change classes.

Welcome from Canada. Glad you have the answers Don. Lol. In my case, every time I figure them out, the questions change. Darn!
