Retirement home darlings who found love through loss are tying the knot

Both of them are able to afford living in a luxury senior's building given the size of the rooms, and their furniture. She has a walk in closet that now connects to his apartment. Good for them. This place charges about five thousand CDN per month for an apartment, with all meals, onsite nurses, and luxury things like a pool, gym, and cafe and bar room. It has a 200 seat Anglican church of Canada chapel in the building.

My Dad met my stepmother in the retirement home that my wife was working as a PSW. They were both her clients so she got to know them quite well. Shortly after they were married my Dad called me to see if I could put some shelves in their closets. I couldn't help but feel like something funny was in the air. While I was there at the requested time putting up shelves it just happened to be the same time as Annie was there to do her chores in their room. So of course they introduced us. This was in March of 2004 and by November she moved in.
I'm sure that between the four of us, we were quite the topic of discussion through out the retirement home.
