Retirement is my idea of fun

Hi everyone. :wave:

I'm a 68 year old retired New Orleanian. Life has been great, but when I retired in 2009 I finally found my niche in life, so to speak. I didn't have a hard adjustment to retirement and have enjoyed every minute of it. I have been divorced for 19 years, but my "boyfriend" (also in his 60's) and I have been together for the past 17 years. We don't travel or do a lot of exciting-sounding things, but we are happy with our fairly quiet and uneventful lives.

Anyway, glad to meet everyone and I am looking forward to participating on the Senior Forums. :fun:

Welcome Carole! Yes, isn't retirement wonderful? We also live a "low keyed" style of life now and we like it!
