Retiring and want friends

Aloha!
I am a Registered nurse and am retiring in two weeks. I live on Oahu and would live to make some online friends.
I love the beach, my tuxedo cats, needle felting, reading, cooking, playing games on my phone and switch, and watching wholesome shows.
I'm a lifelong vegetarian, in pretty good health, and visit the mainland a few times a year to see my grandchildren.

Hi Mochicat, welcome glad your found us, congrats on your retirement
We have something in common health field, I worked 3 days/wk at local hospital for 27 yrs as a pharm tech.My job was delivering narcotics to nursing units, speciality floors e.g MICU,CCU,ER. It was alot of walking,bending, paper work.I took early retirement in 2011,my body had enough,enjoy my' new life' as will you

Oh, your tuxedo cat is beautiful and so is Hawaii! You live a charmed life. I also love the beach. I had a Balinese cat in my early 20's named Mocha...sweetest cat ever. Welcome to the senior forum!
