Just found out that my company is going to pay me half of my yearly bonus since I am retiring this month. That is very nice of them and an unexpected sum of money which will cover me until I have to do my mandatory withdrawals from my 401K plan. This has been the nicest company I ever worked for and the only one that did not screw me over in some way.
Retiring in two weeks and asked my boss for half of my yearly bonus.
