Retrieve old data from old systems

I have a couple of pieces of hardware that I can connect to my computer to retrieve data from old drives and floppy disks. They come in handy at times and are fun to play with. Sometimes I have loaded personal data onto the old systems thinking it might be a little bit more secure there although I also turn those systems off when I am not using them.
