Retro Historical TV Set Designs

This is pretty much the old RCA I grew up with - B&W with a phonograph and AM/FM radio ...

I remember crawling around behind the set and peering through the fiberboard back cover to watch the tubes glowing, and in the winter enjoying the heat they produced. Of course, if I actually wanted to watch anything I had to wait a minute or so until the set warmed up. :D

We had a Kreisler. Damned thing took up half the room and was treated like a diety.
I had Kreisler as well. The cabinet was beautifull polished timber, and remote control was on 8 mtre lead. As the chanels were changed, there was quite loud "click", "click" sound.

Searched and searched for an old console television to use as a stand for my fancy schmancy new flat screen and scored a fantastic Admiral heavy-as-hell monster. Looks fantastic.
