Returning to work on "Light Duties" I am now in the despatch and receivals office

For a blue collar worker who has never done this sort of work it can be rather mind boggling.
I work in a Laser cutting factory which has a yearly turn over of $10 million.
My tasks included inputting the completed work orders, printing out cleaning/check sheets.
Inputting the Plate purchases,
Running despatch paperwork for other processes - (work sent outside).
Arranging outside transport for our products.
Liaising with delivery drivers ensuring the correct paperwork is seen.
Ensuring the product is secure on pallets.
The work is constant and my line manager oversees all that I do.
No major mistakes except one where I sent a product to Esperance when it should have gone to Geraldton.
Esperance being 700 km from Perth. Geraldton being 1000km from Esperance.

You have to have been good at what you were doing and
the company appreciate that by giving you an office job to
cover your recovery, at least you still have a job.

I hope that you get back too 100% quickly.

Mike
Thank you.
Yes, the company has been very good to me. I will get back to full health in about 3 - 4 months.
