I have no need to keep track of my bank balances since my bank does it for me. And if I run out of money, they let me know. Track monthly purchases? No interest it that. Spreadsheets? Pfft. Spent 25 years doing budgets for a multi billion $$ company and if I never see another spreadsheet, it will be too soon.

@Buckeye LOL I know just what you mean. I too administered the budget for my division at my company. It was millions of dollars and I got heartily sick of it by the time I retired. I could do those spreadsheets in my sleep.
Isn't it interesting how differently people manage their money? I think it comes down to what makes one feel comfortable and secure.
