When the UK was facing terrorist attacks by Eire terrorists as part of their attack against the British province of Northern Ireland, the other state on the island of Ireland, an enhanced security zone was implimented within the City, a part of the city of London
.
It had considerable success though there were some attacks that broke through.

Now an enhanced security zone is to be implimented in order to provide protection from Muslim terrorists who are increasing their attacks across the whole of the UK as part of their expansion of sharia as well as quid pro quo for the involvement in fighting against Islamic expansionism elsewhere.

Coming soon to a city near you.

That is true Laurie. It is also true that a strong and resilient people can absorb punishment from an enemy without losing their resolve to resist and remain unbowed.

I take my hat off to the British people, especially the people of London, who withstood The Blitz and IRA terrorism. While every life is precious and every loved one sorely missed, I believe that we have the strength to metaphorically look the terrorists in the eye and say, "Do your worst, you bastards. You are never going to break us. You cannot win because we won't let you."

You must be joking. The population of London today are absolutely nothing like the population of London even 20 years ago.

As for remaining unbowed, that is a characteristic that years of socialist governments that is also long gone.
 
I was actually speaking for my own country. We have taken very little damage from terrorists in Australia but to read the newspapers you would think that we are all under constant attack. I take heart from the courage of the bull dog breed and refuse to quake in fright.

Any trace of bulldog has been lost from the British people for many years. The combination of social engineering from all and sundry, legislation that results in anything other than PC results in a very real risk of criminal prosecution, and the utter nonsense that multiculturalism is even a possibility has combined to produce a society that is weak.

Sydney may well be an example of successful multi-ethnic policies and cultural policies that encompasses variations of different cultures having the same basic values but when a "culture" comes along with radically different values from the common values of all others, indeed a totally different perception of reality, that is when the wheels come off.

Also when the people of one cultural heritage have a demand to dominate all others then look out for squalls.

The wheels come off when we demonise a whole community for the actions of a tiny minority.
Also, we wouldn't be having any of these problems were it not for the open sore that is the Middle East right now.
Eventually, the wars will end, as they always do, and new ones will start elsewhere, as they always do, but countries founded on the best values and principles will still be standing unbowed, even if a little bloodied.

My son is a cab driver in Sydney (a proper one, with a hackney licence).

I'm proud to say that if any of his passengers makes a derogatory remark about any of the races resident in Sydney he pulls over and orders them out of his cab, the last time only last week.

Anyone who gets in his cab and says "Thank God! A white man" has to look somewhere else for a ride.

No-one has yet made a formal complaint.


 
The problem, and problem it is, is not in any way racial.
