Everybody and their blinking electronic gadgets, I guess it's time for me to embrace the suck and at least get a phone. One of those fun little things about cell phones is custom ringtones. You can pick a different tune for virtually any regular caller. I lean towards mellow sounds like " One o' Clock Jump" but some folks get mighty creative.

I always giggle when it's something unexpected. There will be a huge flock of customers and maybe one very senior gentleman with a cane. I'm thinking George Burns...suddenly his phone goes off and the room fills with " YEAAAAH" by Usher...yep, break it down Son:D Meanwhile back to Count Basie
 

Before I had a Smartphone,my ringtone was a donkey braying. I mean a really good,brought up from the "toenails" bray,like my Jezebel does. It would stop people dead in their tracks,then they would just start cracking up. I was never able to get a good one like that on my Galaxy-I would have to get an Iphone.
 
I have a few I use. My favorite is one of the comedian Bill Engvall saying "Ring, ring, your phone is ringing, your pocket is ringing. Why is it when somebody's phone rings everybody looks at theirs? Not now, this is me. Answer your pocket". I also have the Andy Griffith theme, and the Law and Order "doink doink"
 
I told my wife she should have "La Cucaracha" as a ringtone, but she hasn't done it. I don't even have a dumb phone, still on the land line.
 
I used to have the song, "If I Only Had a Brain" from The Wizard of Oz. I've always liked that song.
