I understand..I've done that in the past too... but in reality you could have signed up with a fake name and address ..and got the discounted clothes..

Saw a sign in the window of a local department store recently "ladies blouses half off". I went in and was greatly disappointed to find they were talking about prices...

If becoming a member of Rivers is free and you aren't obligated to buy anything , or doesn't entail lots of personal info, what's wrong with becoming a member to get a discount? You can always "unjoin" when you get your stuff. I used to buy stuff as a "visitor", but it is easier with a few clicks to order stuff as a 'member' than having to re-enter your address, etc.
Why does being a member of Rivers bother you?

That's why I have google set up with fake name and throwaway email (Gmail) account. I'll put out a fake number (apologies to those who get a call asking for "Dick Trickel" )

The insurance quote was $78 a month...... I pay $38 right now!
