Roasted cauliflower,is it tasty

There used to be a take-out place here that served fried cauliflower. It was delicious. I used to stop there occasionally on my way home from work on Fridays and get a couple of orders of fried fish, curly fries and the cauliflower and bring them home. That was dinner for mom and me. After mom passed (2006), I don't remember patronizing them. Sadly they went OOB about 4 years ago.

Fried cauliflower is delicious. My Italian grandmother used to make it. She didn't coat it in breadcrumbs though but instead used flour mixed with spices.
I made it once but I hate frying anything at home. It came out good but getting rid of used oil is a bother at home.

Like most others here, I’ve tried roasted cauliflower florets. Cut into pieces with drizzled olive oil put under broiler setting in oven, seasoned with salt & pepper with a bit of turmeric is tasty. Making it into a cauliflower soup is also nice

The US Navy introduced me to both roasted and breaded deep fried cauliflower. Since I already was a fan of the raw form it made me a real booster of that particular veggie. The smell of the fried version can be a bit off putting to some, but the taste more than makes up for it.
