I was shocked to hear of his passing, I don't know why I thought he'd just keep living. RIP Robert.
Oddly, I had the same reaction, but then I never thought of him as old. But 89? He did pretty well then.I was shocked to hear of his passing, I don't know why I thought he'd just keep living. RIP Robert.
He was in a few Twilight Zones. There are no small parts only small actors.
Every once in a while Robert Redford can be spotted in early television shows from the late 50s and early 60s.

IMO that is his best movie, and it's one of my top 3 faves. I'd watch it tonight but I saw it fairly recently (few months ago) and don't want to ruin it which I've learned from other beloved films can happen.I didn't see a lot of his work, but enjoyed watching "The Way We Were" (also starring Streisand) several times.
I think I saw that one. I remember his face looking like that.He was in a much-loved Twilight Zone episode ("Nothing in the Dark"); I nearly didn't recognize him when I first saw it: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0734603/
