A Memphis, Tennessee band called The Gentrys enjoyed a million selling, Billboard #4 hit in 1965 with "Keep On Dancing".
One of their vocalists, Jimmy Hart, (black haired singer on the right) would go on to even greater fame and fortune in professional wrestling, as a manager nicknamed "The Mouth of the South."

Tab Hunter (born Arthur Kelm) scored a No 1 hit on the Billboard Top 100 in March 1957 with Young Love.
Along with six other songs that reached that chart, he appeared in over forty feature films and thirty-five TV shows between 1950 and 1992.
Films included Meet Me in St Louis, Vengeance is my Forgiveness, City Under the Sea, Grease 2.
In his 2005 memoir, Tab Hunter Confidential, he revealed that he was gay, and that purported romances with Debbie Reynolds and Natalie Wood early in his career had been the product of studio publicity departments.

Johnny Crawford, the actor who starred along with Chuck Connors in TV's The Rifleman from 1958 to 1963, also enjoyed four Billboard Top 40 hits with "Cindy's Birthday" (#8 in 1962), "Your Nose Is Gonna Grow" (#14 in 1962), "Rumors" (#12 in 1962) and "Proud" (#29 in 1963).
Unlike many of his contemporaries, his stage name differed little from his given name, John Ernest Crawford.

Rolf Harris: (30 March 1930 – 10 May 2023) was an Australian musician, television personality, artist and actor. He used a variety of instruments in his performances, notably the didgeridoo and the Stylophone, and is credited with the invention of the wobble board. He was convicted in England in 2014 of the sexual assault of four underage girls, which effectively ended his career.

Harris began his entertainment career in 1953, releasing several songs, including "Tie Me Kangaroo Down Sport," a Top 10 hit in Australia, the UK and the United States, "Sun Arise," "Jake the Peg," and "Two Little Boys," which reached number 1 in the UK.
