I heard this on the TV news this morning ..(Sorry link not working without having to pay for story) will see if I can find story elsewhere, It was about Childcare centres ( in Aust ) banning some of his Christmas music because of the oblivious .....As the story was only released today sometimes the story will appear by clicking on the link the day after the story is published . Sorry ...
 

Yep. I couldn't bring myself to teach Six White Boomers to children these days.
Perhaps in 20 years or so after he is dead someone might revive his songs as covers because they are really quite good.
I always liked The Court of King Caracatus as a fun song. Also Buffaloes on my Lawn, but they are now put aside.

Time to revive Burl Ives, don't you agree?
