Rooting new plants from cuttings

My geraniums were hit by the frost which I expected but I had taken some cuttings from them before the frost hit.
I was surprised how quickly they rooted. I used rooting powder and a potting soil mixed with vermiculite.
Covered the rooting plant with a clear plastic bag till they got established under bright light.

I've done the same. The snake plant is an easy but slow houseplant to root.

That's a nice looking plant you've got there.

I recall a warning on the label of the rooting hormone to avoid getting it into an open wound, but I forgot the brand. It was a long time ago.

It's a hormone and an acid and the warning label also tells you to avoid breathing in the dust.
Apparently it lasts forever. I bought it years ago. I just resurrected it because I had such a nice hanging basket this year and I just hated to see it go.
I don't like bringing plants in that I have had outdoors. Too many bugs surface.
