I had a satisfactory and long term relationship with a doctor whom I really liked. Then he assumed additional administrative duties in the clinic and his whole personality changed. I switched to a young female doc who is really good. I still can't bring myself to see her for a prostate exam however.
That's more related to my age and sense of propriety than any reflection on her professionalism though. All in all, I have never experienced out and out rudeness from my medical or dental providers although family members have.
