Then it’s the neo old fashioned white (bigger, thicker, softer, snowy white) totally bad for you, totally good to the buds

If there’s two slices? Easy, that becomes two open face

Usually triangles but I'm not picky. This sounds like my kind of place...

Usually, I go with Lawful Good or Lawful Neutral it depends on the filling and my memories of a particular sandwich.

Once in a while, it's a Chaotic Good and if I'm using those gigantic slices of natural style breads I go with a version of Neutral Evil.

I can't eat doorsteps too big.

I cut mine in 1/4 triangles.... sometimes I cut them in little mini bite size pieces. I find I eat less if I cut them like that...

The picture in your post reminded me of this bit of trivia, do you know if it is true?

Sandwiches served to the royal family do not have right angle corners. This is believed to stem from a superstition of Queen Victoria’s husband Albert that it was unlucky to eat anything in the shape of a coffin. Finger sandwiches at Buckingham Palace garden parties have rounded corners.

I must confess that I too am a sandwich slut. There really isn't much that wouldn't taste better slapped between two pieces of fresh bread. And nothing beats a good ole fashioned Reuben!

I seldom eat sandwiches and even then it’s usually open faced ...just don’t eat a lot of bread. Even with a hamburger at a restaurant I take the top bun off...same with any sandwiches I order....and unless it’s been pre cut I go with lawful neutral.

I distinctly remember throwing a tantrum at an early age when someone cut my peanut-butter-and-jelly sandwich in triangles instead of squares. Apparently is traumatized me so much, to this day I can't cut a sandwich on the diagonal......LOL.
