I was on line ( ATT internet) when the internet went dead and at the exact same moment the Direct TV signal went black with no message on the screen like when a storm interrupts the signal. I called Direct TV and they thought it was the TV because of no on-screen signal. I have never had the screen go blank before, As far as the internet went there was a signal of failure I have never seen before. Well, because on both systems this first time occurrence had me thinking "a new TV" and I will resolve the internet issue with ATT on the phone when I get back from the dentist. So, after I got back from my dentist appointment I trouble shot both systems and happily for me I got both working. So I avoided shelling out $$$ for a new TV even though Jackson Hewitt gave me a coupon for $100 off a set if more than $500. Life is good.
