That's why I mentioned that it was state-run. It was staged for publicity and no sane person would object to it or they would face retaliation. Their usual suspect had always been the US but they specifically targeted Canada last year.

I wouldn't too much stock in what a Chinese state-run poll said. Seems politically motivated.
 
I'm not really against capital punishment. There are just some people, whose crimes are such that they should be put to death.- mass murders, etc. And there has to be no possibility that they are not guilty. Executing 81 people in one day indicates the Saudis feel differently.
