I Waite for the end of January and longer sunlight days. Cold yes, but sunlight starts to warm too.
The pets lay on the registers most of the time now.
 
That's impossible because all the registers are either in the ceiling or in the walls. And I keep the heat to a minimum. It's the only rational thing to do.
