That nice that you travel from Wisconsin to Massachusetts each summer.... there is a lots to do here in summer time... many touristas come here for vacation. - - Aww..thank you - my English is "okay" I guess.. Hello Anglophile ...

Well... I dunno what the answer for that is.. haha. I must say that Gelato is very tasty and the woman are very feisty - so I guess the comparison is a good one? I dunno...May be you should try some Gelato and decide for you own self? .... (now you make me wish to have some Gelato!) ;)

Oh...thank you very much, dear knightofalbion...thank you for a nice happy greeting...I appreciate. 😊✌

Benvenuta, Gia.... I just returned after a long absence and was so pleased to discover your introduction. How exciting. I too am originally from the Lombardy region. Lived in Massachusetts, after coming to the states. And our summer home was on the Cape. Did you live in Mass when you came to the states? Nursing training in Mass? I initially trained at Mass General. So glad you found this forum......
Nona

Ohhhh..... Grazia, Nona ... You have be away from this forum and now you retorn you are meaning, yes? I see - You are Italian also - and you was live in Massachusetts also... We have a similarities. :) Yes when we come to the US we come right away to Massachusetts where some of my family already was living. First we was in Boston living near to them and then we come more far south to Cape Cod. At first we was in Dennis (Cape Cod) for many years and then we move to this region in Bourne area.... and we still enjoy to live here. You train at Mass General - that wonderful - I work there for a little over one year - (Dr. McBrine - Dr. Wang - Dr. Silvestri days) and I train at Regis College and then Salve Regina in Rhode Island for degrees. I am very happy that I find this forum also - so many very nice people here - including you! Thank you for such a nice welcome - I will look forward to see you around here, Nona.. is a pleasure for me. da Gia xo :)

Yes, I just returned to the forum, Gia. Salve Regina ! ! ! Unreal... When I first trained there were not any college nursing programs. Many years later I lived a few streets away from Salve Regina and entered their nursing degree program. Got my bachelors and did my grad studies in Florida though.
Our first summer place was in Wellfleet. Eventually, my father tired of the long commute, so we moved to Duxbury. Love the cape when all the tourists have gone.....
My father was Italo-American and lived in Belmont, so that is where I grew up.

You know Salve then... haha..... that is such coincidence for us... we both attend for degree - Oh so now you living in Florida ..I see...... Yes, I know Wellfleet and Truro - P'town.... I have not been up to that end of the Cape for a few years now.... we has family in Dennis and in Brewster so that is as far as we have been going in that area. Yes - that is a long commute from Belmont - Belmont is near Boston area so - yes...I can understand you Papa was reluctant to each year make the trip to Wellfleet...... Duxbury is very nice - we have friends who live there...very pretty area and they have a lovely home. YES - is always the best when the touristas are gone..haha.... spring and fall and winter is no one around us.... summer time.... we stay away from all the tourist places and we drive all back roads to go places. Still - it is good that we accumulate their $$$ to help funding our town. This is so nice - I am happy to know you and we will stay in touch I hope, Nona... If you will like to be friend, you can send to me a request and we can talk by the private message if you wish....that way we not bother to others in this section. Is good to hear from you - I am very please that you introduce you self to me. :) Ciao for now, Nona. da Gia xo

Gia, I didn't realize you were as new to the forum as I am. Welcome! It's wonderful to see how beloved you already are here :)

Hi Pinky! I was not aware of that either... I thought YOU was here already for a long time...but we both arrive at same time? That funnny.. ..... Ohhh boy.... I dunno how belove I am here...lol.....not many know me really - I stay mainly in the music groups because I am still shy for my English and I am not sure people can understanding me well if I join other thread..... Well..I say WELCOME to YOU, too - and we will now be friends I hope? Is very nice to meet you, Pinky and STILL I love the signature you have (Dalai Lama who I adore!) Thanks for say hello to me - we will stay in touch okay? Yes please. :) xo Ciao from Gia
