The American brother of Scott Johnson, who died near Sydney's North Head more than 30 years ago, has doubled the police reward for new information about the death, with a total of $2 million. It worked, police arrested the man responsible. Detective Chief Inspector Peter Yeomans said a key informant led police to their suspect. He said without that person's evidence, the case, which is one of Sydney's most long-standing murder mysteries, "couldn't have been solved"...........

That is strong information if the suspect is guilty,
though I doubt that the Australian Police would
hold someone in remand if there was any chance
that he was innocent.
