It is amazing what you can buy in Scotland for the price of a large house in London. If you think that island is good, have a look at Torridon Estate. I have stayed on the estate and believe me it is one of the most stunning places in Scotland.

I love Oban and the area around it, especially the islands.

In a home like one of those, I wouldn't have time for broadband or even wi-fi. I would be far too busy having fun!

It would be like moving into a Rosamunde Pilcher novel, only with cats instead of dogs. And ponies. I would have to have ponies. One Highland, one Shetland, the rest a mix of Dales, Welsh Mountain, and Norwegian Fjord.

If I lived on an estate, I would have Gypsy Vanner horses. Love them! Quite common near where I live.

I think you'd need more than this 4 acre island to have horses.
