Screen keeps turning purple

My laptop is about a year old. For some reason, it sometimes starts switching to a purple screen, then the next time I click on anything it goes back to white. It continues switching back and forth between purple and white until I log out and reenter. Very annoying.

Any idea what causes this?

Sounds like the power saving feature wants to dim or turn off the screen. Maybe go to Power or Display settings and adjust the Sleep settings.

Usually, it's a combination of red and blue... in this case I would assume pixels or perhaps LEDs.
Other than that, I have no idea
