One of my favorite movie actors,Sean Connery is celebrating his 89th birthday today
A couple movies I've always liked he was in are:
"The Man Who Would Be King' '75 co stars with Michael Caine,Christopher Plummer
"Robin and Marian' 76 co stars with Audrey Hepburn
"The Untouchables' '87 co stars with Kevin Costner,Robert DeNiro
"Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade' '89,co stars with Harrison Ford.I find it amusing he played Ford's father considering he is 12 yrs older than him
"The Hunt for Red October' '90 co stars with Alec Baldwin,Scott Glenn
The Rock' 96 co stars with Nicholas Cage,Ed Harris
He won his only Academy Award for best supp actor in'The Untouchables'
In my opionion he is the only James Bond,never cared for other actors who took on the role

My favorite movie of his was "The Wind and the Lion". Sean Connery as the desert sharif Raisuli………...oh my quivering bosom...…… He was and still is the sexiest man alive.

He was the best Bond ever, but as a younger man he didn't appeal to me. A little too "slick", perhaps. But when he got some years on him.....WOW!
 
My husband's name is Sean. With the number of people who spell his name wrong... I wonder if they've ever seen a James Bond movie. My first inclination, even before I knew my husband, has always been S-E-A-N, not Shaun or Shawn.

BTW, Hubby's ring tone on my phone on my phone is the 007 theme song...
