I only did 4 years so didn't retire but earned my EGA in 1976, San Diego MCRD.
My MOS was payroll clerk but Monday through Fridays, weekends off was a nice job. Did go to Europe twice on deployment so didn't get stuck stateside.
Got out and went to school for a degree to go back as an officer but got a good job so never went back.
